Didnt take that much pictures this time round. Near 200 only. Nevermind, i was intending to grab/take from elaine/annice/jiaying. I'm gonna grab damn lot from elaine, cause she took lots of pictures. Hahas.
Kay, Taiwan trip was fun, but not that fun. Its somehow abit boring too, but not that boring. I'm totally in with 七星潭 and 日月潭. These 2 places are super good for camwhoring. Hotel mirrors and toilet mirrors too, lah. But these 2 places are my all-time favourites. Scenery is like supa nice can? Other places are quite boring, cause they're like museums and museums. My other loves are the night markets and shopping districts. SHOPPING IS LOVELOVELOVE! :D
So i'm gonna blog day by day about the trip. Yes, its lame and ginna-rish, but whatever! I've got so much time to spare. Also, its for my own reading purpose 50 years down the road. Like hey! I would still remember the details of the trip though i'm a 65-year-old old hag and i would be able to reminiscence the old good happy days right?
( & This reminds me of SOMEBODY. HAHA! :D )
So if ya dont want to fall asleep, then just skip skip skip down. I'll highlight out those FUNNAYE & INTERESTING things.
DAY 1. Saturday, Singapore / Taiwan.
Went for my cousin's wedding, together w/ my luggage. Felt like some big shot ya know? Like some big stars who need to chiong to their next place or what. And my cousin actually believed that i was going to Taiwan for a solo performance, like 世界巡回演出 like that. HAHA! Blahblahblahh.
Day2. Sunday, Taipei.
Reached Taipei! Had breakfast on the bus. Seriously i love my bus and tour guide. They rock kays! Our group was the only special one cause we had one small bus to ourselves, which somehow enables us to bond better, though we were all sleeping all the way throughout all the bus journeys. HAHA!
So we went to 中正纪念堂, took photos. Then to 故宫博物院. Everyone was like the living dead / walking corpses. And we discovered 3 LIZARDS!, namely Sockleng, NgaiHan and Michelle. HAHA! They were like face flat to the wall, sleeping. HAH! Went to 忠烈祠, see the soldiers march and march until the floor also fade colour. Haha.
Had lunch after we went to 故宫. FUNNIEST LUNCH I'VE EVER HAD. The food and everything was quite Singapore, so it was okays. But when i saw the dessert the waiteress was serving, i "HUH?!" very loudly, cause it looked totally like lemons. & Junsian was like, " This is for us to wash hands one wor?". That totally pissed the waitress. She walked back to us and said, " 这个是柳丁，你觉得可以用来洗手吗?" And she walked away in a puff. HAHAHA! Damn hilarious! Laugh until dont feel like eating. Even after we finished, i was still laughing while walking. && We named that Omon. Orange + Lemon= Omon. HAHAAH!
We went to 华西街夜市, ate their sotong balls. NICEEE! And 鸡蛋糕. Then we went to Happiness Hotel. 2nd BEST HOTEL. Their breakfast is like super shoik one kays! And we stayed there for 2 days. So nice, so comfy. Blankets so thick. LOVES! <3
Day 3. Monday, Taipei.
So we went to 野柳, 台北101, 国父纪念馆, 士林夜市, 西门町. Damn sad lah, we can only shop for 1h each for both the night market and ximending. Damn little kays! Bought my brother's shirts @ Shilin. 3 for $1000. I think guy's stuffs in Taiwan are all quite expensive, especially their jeans. Uh-uh. & Sadly, i aint bought nothing for myself. BUT, annice and i shared 炸鸡排 and 奶茶. Damn damn! I tell you their food supaa nice and cheap kays! Cheap but still got quality one! Chicken is like $2.50 only and is damn big, although got a little bones. But SUPAA NICE! Their bubble tea is even more, HAHA, SHIOK! $1.50 for a BIG CUP and the pearls are like infinite one! You can eat the pearls until you're sick of it but there're still tons left one kays! SUPAA LOVE! <3
Day 4. Tuesday, Taipei.
Went to 台湾艺术大学 for 交流, but actually its nothing only, we didnt even talk to them lah, can! Just watched them performed and went to their own museum. SADASS! There is this 曲笛 guy who is SO CUTE! And another 2 曲笛 guys who are quite handsome. SEESEESEE! ALL 曲笛 ONE LEH! I was still looking forward to interacting with them and 顺便 ask for MSN ya know? BUT HECK! We didnt even got the chance to talk to them lah! :((
Then we went to 台湾中正中学. Lunch-ed there. Our buddies quite hit it off with us. Aiya, we too sociable alreadyyyyy. We see other people all quietly eating only. Hahas. Then we had a 脏话交流 session. *coughs*, i meant 章化交流 session. LOL! We taught them how to do WTF that handsign, and they went around doing it to the guys. And they were like, " Whats the meaning of this?". LOL!
Bus-ed to Pacific Hot-Spring and Beach Resort, which is a hotel. Jiaying, Annice and i went to the HOT SPRING! Lingshan and gang & Sockleng and gang were there too. Ahpiang de! Damn shuang can! But we sat in the spring for like 45 minutes only. Still, super enjoyment kays! And we had to went in there, *ahem*. So we were all screaming away when we were bathing that time, cause everything is so open lah. LOL! We damn regretted not bringing camera there ya know? To proof that we've been there. Awws. :(
DAY 5. Wednesday, Hualien.
4 hours of bus ride. To our group, it meant 4 hours of sleeping time. Bus-ed to Marble Factory. Damn bored. Nothing to buy. But hey! I sat on a $10k marble chair kays! The chair was literally COOL and cool. LOL. Went to 七星潭 next. Wind is damn strong. Love to camwhore over there. Damn niceeee lah. Next we went to 柴鱼博物馆. Though the name sucks, a museum, but we didnt went there to learn lahs. We bought cuttlefishs! ARRR, so yummy lah! I finished half a packet already. Yums! :D We went to buy MUACHI toooo! So yummy! I uphold the Singapore spirit, kept eating the lychee jelly sample. So niceeee to eat lah! Bought lots of muachi. :D Slept in Star Hotel, though i dont have memory of it already. HAHA.
DAY 6. Thursday, Kaohsiung.
MAN! A gruelling 8 hours bus ride + 1 hour lunchtime. Luckily no motion sickness. Just slept through, hair was in a mess. Thanks to the 9 hours wasted, we do not need to go to the Kaohsiung Historical Museum! A good news! Sadly, cant really enjoy the scenery of 爱河 toooo. :( But it meant that we've more time for shopping! 2 hours leh! , @ the 新崛江商圈. & YAY! I bought similar tees for shancheng and me. And a boyf shirt. Like finallyyyyy! , after so many days! :D
Stayed in Best Hotel. But apparently, its not the best lor. Spooky things happened and still can call it best? UH-UH. Michelle heard a kid's laughter while she was in her room changing. And blahblah, Mdmteo found out we changed rooms and laaalala. Dont need me to elaborate and you can understand what happen already. Zzz.
DAY 7. Friday, Taichung.
Went to 日月潭! God, the scenery is damn niceeee too! Cause we arrived there @ around sunset time, which is 3plus. LOL. Took manymany pictures! The view is seriously damn artistic cans! We went to a temple to pray too. Went to a Historical Museum of Taiwan. Was quite boring tooo. Then again, ITS SHOPPING TIME! 1 hours and 30 minutes, still not bad lahs.
Bought similar tees with Jiaying. The tees damn cool cans! Its placed INSIDE A DRINK CAN! See the picture and you'll understand. SO COOL! Bought a tee for Xueying tooo! And the guy tending the stall is quite handsome can. Eyecandy. :D Elaine and i were cursing why he took so long, and he just appeared before us. This shows that we should NEVER GOSSIP!
Then we continued shopping, & i finally got my flats! 25 half. My feet are so BIG! ARRRH, total regret for not buying another pair which cost NT$190 only. DAMN! Greatest regret in my life. But nevermind, at least i've bought ONE. HAH!
Stayed in Chin Hun Hotel, the no.1 hotel! Seriously, the room's big. The room michelle and i got was the biggest. 2 separated double beds, and somewhat a small area with 2 chairs and a coffee table, plus a toilet. TOTALLY BIG CAN! But i moved to jiaying and elaine's room. Theirs are big toooo. The only sad thing is, there is no full length mirror. Aww. ): && Their breakfast is good, they have internet service too. Hence, its the best! :D
DAY 8. Taichung / Singapore.
Went to the 921 Earthquake. Experienced the earthquake stimulation, 6级 one. Kay, its just like sitting on I-gallop. But yah, its the objects falling down on you that is the scary and dangerous thing. Bus-ed 2 hours to Taipei. Went to 莺歌老街, seriously nothing to shop. Just ate another chicken cutlet, so as to spend all my coins away. But then, i still have $16 left. Nevermind. So sadly, we flew back to Singapore. Took pictures @ the airport there.
